Voices 4 Nigeria (V4N) needs your help now! A faithful and generous V4N supporter has recently issued a “challenge” – our supporter will match dollar-for-dollar all donations made by December 31st up to $5,000.00! This is an exceptional opportunity to double the impact of your contribution to the work of V4N. Working together, we can raise $10,000.00 or more to fight starvation in Nigeria!

Voices 4 Nigeria – working through its on-the-ground partner in Nigeria, Gabasawa Women & Children Empowerment Initiative (G.W.C.I.) – brings relief, aid, support, and economic empowerment opportunities to the victims of terrorism in Nigeria. For nearly eight years, V4N has funded or provided medical supplies & equipment with Project C.U.R.E., clothing, cooking items, emergency assistance, trauma therapy, and empowerment training to help alleviate suffering in Nigeria. All donations made to our matching challenge will support V4N’s life-sustaining Farming Grant Initiative (FGI) project – each dollar donated will wholly & directly go to the project. Through the FGI, V4N is currently empowering 2,000 widows launching sustainable livelihoods in farming. Boko Haram has slaughtered the widows’ husbands and, in some cases, the children. Donations help provide farming tools, seed, fertilizer, harvesting help, and irrigation, allowing the widows to feed themselves and their children and even generate extra money to sustain themselves. “Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day – but teach a man how to fish, and he can eat for a lifetime!”

Watch this video to learn more about the incredible work and impact of Voices4Nigeria's partner, Gabasawa.

A donation of $250.00 would be doubled to $500.00 by the matching challenge allowing a widow with five children to feed her entire family and help other widows for a whole year! Would you please join us as we work to restore hope to those whose lives have been devastated by terrorism and persecution? Please make a tax-deductible year-end donation by our challenge deadline of December 31st. Each and every gift makes a difference – act now!

From the Gospel of Matthew – “… Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, He gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied….”

As shared by Dallas Jenkins, creator of “The Chosen,” – “Remember, your job is not to feed the 5,000 – your job is only to provide the loaves and fish!”

With thankfulness to each of you,

Janet Wright
